The end bracket is fitted to the substructure, e.g. by attaching two clamps to the rungs of the ladder or in the case of concrete cladding by using concrete dowels.
Energy absorbers built into the system protect the end anchors from excessive loads should a fall from the system occur.
Swageless Termination provides strong end connections to the wire rope & completely eliminates the danger of any loose wire ropes which may cause injury to the user working on the line.
Vertical Lifeline Rope Grab Fall Arrester
The vertical lifeline Rope Grab Fall Arrester glides along the guiding cable — locking in the case of a fall. A special technical design allows the Rope Grab Fall Arrester to run freely alongside the user as he/she climbs up or down.
The intermediate bracket is attached, for example, to the rung of a ladder using a clamp. The guiding cable is led through a clamp.
The 8 mm guiding cable is of stainless steel. This is attached to Swageless termination and the tensioning element at the end brackets.
The end tensioning element is installed at the lower end of the vertical lifeline system, acting on the one hand as a Swageless termination and on the other as a tensioner for tightening the cable and for counteracting any cable stretch which may occur as a result of temperature changes.
